Obama's offering of the Surgeon General post to CNN's Sanjay Gupta is yet another truly inspired pic. The President Elect and his team are playing for the win on every single post, position and issue and I love it! Rep. Conyers and Krugman have both taken this opportunity to remind everyone what a great Liberal the blowhard extraordinare Michael Moore is under the guise of questioning Gupta's experience. Qualifications aside, (although Gupta is head of neurosurgery at Grady here in Atlanta and a assistant professor of neurosurgery at Emory) Sanjay Gupta is America's TV doctor for the You Tube generation, a modern day Marcus Welby M.D. Teen pregnancy is still at catastropic levels, HIV/AIDS contrary to popular opinion has not been cured and is actually on the rise among young heterosexuals, obesety rates are skyrocketing as is heart disease and diabetes cause by that obesity. We need a Surgeon General who the people will relate and listen to. Obama has done just that, given us someone who can sell it.
