This pic first seen here on The Dish has haunted me for a couple of days. I have a child this girl's age that is a tornado of life and emotion. To look at this picture breaks my heart but to read accounts of Hamas' treatment of children here, and Israel's here is positively maddening.

Let me say up front, I know very little about this issue other than what I've read and seen on the news. But, these are children and they must be off limits. What father could forgive this treatment of their child? There can not and will not be reconciliation in Gaza unless both parties begin to respect some modicum of human decency. Any ceasefire without that is just buying re-supply time.
